RSS Advertising Product...
Working with Sun Microsystems, I led a small team that developed the product that would enable advertising to appear within the company's hundreds of RSS feeds. Using existing resources and system, the end-result was a product that measured use of RSS as well as tracking click-throughs using either CMP's own ad server or a client's ad server. As important, the new system was integrated with the existing billing systems so no new technology was deployed. Market-testing yielded some interesting results.
Webcasting
Supervised the launch of CMP's Webcasting business which created dozens of new incremental revenue opportunities generating nearly $2 million in high-margin revenue in the first year.
FastPoll: The Audience Polling Product...
CMP constantly received inquieries from advertsiers to conduct research against its audience base. Working with my research manager, we created a series of programs providing a range of price points and services. This high-markging program enabled us to attribute profitable revenue to an expense center and provided us with a low-cost way to provide added value to out advertising programs.

A major six week viral promotion that drove over 70,000 registrants, nearly 30% brought in through viral referals., helped to consume nearly a million page views over a twelve week period.
